In front of a Cathedral
a Reverand appears
curious reporters, listen...

Is it the bike or the rider
blessed?
In the spirit - it's the body
of Christ.

Riders linger as if to see a
spirit rise among them...

A child, one leg -
hobbles on his crutches
a roller skate -
one leg blessed
his mode of transportation.

Then - as if God called. . .
With all their bikes - inside
of the Cathedral -
A blessing of ones' child.

Will the Reverand, Father, Priest...
pour holy water over -
handle bars?
